WILD MAN JOURNEY NEW ZEALAND (March 3rd-17th 2018)

What does it mean to be a ‘Man'?

Find your inner warrior

In this adventure tour that becomes a spiritual journey through Maori healing, shamanism, inner warrior work and Sol Petersen’s renowned sweat lodge …

This is a journey to unearth your inner wild man!!!

Curated and led by Leandro D’Andrea who was born in New Zealand and is a Core Shamanic Practitioner, the Wildman Journey works to connect you to the natural world by immersing you in the stunning landscapes of the North Island. After being greeted and blessed by local elders, you will travel on a physically demanding 15 day adventure through the wilderness bringing you back in touch with nature and yourself.

At Sol’s beautiful retreat Waimana, you will unearth the different aspects of your masculinity: the importance of being nurturing Lovers; Warriors with purpose;  Mystics with authentic spiritual connections; being strong positive leaders as Kings, and most importantly; being able to call on that deep buried wild man in all of you that will give you energy, protection, purpose and drive.

Returning to the wilderness, you will climb mountains, scramble through the bush, raft on the rivers and surf the beaches, forage and fish with locals, and build your own bonfires in this ancient, majestic land.

Through this adventure you will bond with each other and truly understand your relationship with yourself, your own unique form of masculinity, other men and nature.

To be part of this transformational journey  you need an adventurous spirit, a good level of fitness through the days and an openness to our spirit work in the evenings.Tour groups are maintained at low numbers to truly focus on the team building and community aspects that are integral to The Wildman Journey.

Leandro leads our New Zealand tours drawing on his expertise as a scout, shamanic practitioner, chef, men’s group facilitator and wilderness guide. Leandro works with Michele Lukis as a Shamanic Practitioner in London offering one on one healings and holding monthly Andean Circles where he teaches shamanic principles. He also runs weekly men’s groups for personal empowerment and leads shamanic walks of consciousness through the woodlands of the UK.

Apprenticed in Peruvian Shamanism to Maestro of San Pedro, Rueben Orellana (PhD), Leandro has been working with traditional medicine plants, such as Ayahuasca in the Amazon and San Pedro in the high country of Peru. He studies Core Shamanism with Simon Buxton of The Sacred Trust. Leandro’s work is based in a strong belief that we are all connected and therefore we should all show love and respect to one another. His efforts for the future are to bring men back in touch with nature and to fully realise themselves as conscious men.

It is not our job to remain whole.
We came to lose our leaves
Like the trees, and be born again,
Drawing up from the great roots.
